Day 1
Your fun tour begins when your airplane lands on Los Angeles airport. You will be greeted by friendly tour guide at the Baggage Claim Area. He or she will transfer you to hotel and faciliate you with check-in if needed.
Day 2
Disneyland, created by the late Walt Disney, the king of animated films, was merely a small orchard overgrown with orange and walnut trees in 1954. Disneyland has been called the"Happiest Place on Earth,"especially since new performances-such as "Walt Disney''s Parade of Dreams," "Toy Story 2,""Tarzan,"and so forth--have been launched successively in recent years. There are eight major theme areas. Adventure land features primeval forests and swamps; the "Indiana Jones Adventure" train is a favorite with visitors; in Mickey''s Toontown you can chat with Mickey and Minnie.
Or your choice of the day can be California Adventure Park-the newest theme park designed by the world-famous Disney Corporation. It presents a rich variety of programs, including 25 adventure and entertainment programs spread out over three major theme areas (Golden State, Hollywood Pictures Back lot, and Paradise Pier and the entry plaza. There is a vast 3D cinema theater seating 2,000, a rollercoaster ride that accelerates from zero to 55 mph in five seconds, a Golden State dream tour, and a space launcher that zooms 180 feet into the air in 2 seconds and gives one the exhilarating sense of riding on a space shuttle.
Day 3
Leave Monterey Park in the morning and take the scenic route along The Pacific Coast Highway and arrive at Solvang, a town which is more Danish in character than Denmark. Continue north to San Simeon for a visit to Hearst Castle, the only castle to be found on American soil. You will marvel at the priceless collections of art and antique pieces and the gilt-edged swimming pools. Stay overnight in Fresno.
Day 4
In the early morning, your coach will take you north from Fresno to Yosemite through miles of vineyards, orchards, and fertile farmland of California. Enter Yosemite National Park to view the waterfalls, El Capitan, and walk along trails among towering pine trees. After that, depart for the fabulous city of San Francisco. On arrival, tour the world famous Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman''s Wharf, Oakland Bay Bridge, Chinatown, Treasure Island, and the Civic Center.
Day 5
In the morning, we shall continue with the city tour. After the tour, depart San Francisco in the afternoon and return to Los Angeles in the evening.
Day 6
The morning, we head towards Las Vegas-the Pearl in the Desert. There is a brief stop at Barstow for lunch, a brief rest and some shopping, and at around 5 p.m we arrive in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is a constantly changing and evolving miracle, as a grand new theme hotel goes up virtually every year. One is irresistibly drawn to such luxury hotels and casinos as Mirage, Treasure Island Hotel, MGM, Bellagio, Venetian, and the Aladdin. Fanciful billboards and rainbow-hued neon displays from a fantasy world that tickles the imagination. You have chances to enjoy world-class shows at night.
Day 7
At dawn, we head for the Grand Canyon National Park, known world-wide for its seven world-famous sights. This is the world''s most vivid example of erosion. The Grand Canyon has for years served geologists and paleontologists as a textbook, and overcomes tourists with a sense of awe at the superb craftsmanship of the Great Creator. Afternoon, we set out expectantly for Laughlin, the casino city in Nevada. You can try out your luck at the hotel where you will be staying. Who knows, you may just strike it rich!
Day 8
Starting out early in the morning, we begin another exciting day driving to Lake Havasu, known as the Blue Lake. Situated on the Colorado River, it is a favorite spot for fishing, boating, and swimming. We will also see the London Bridge, the world''s most high-priced relocated antique construction project. Around noon, we proceed to Los Angeles.
Day 9
San Diego Sea World, the world-famous marine-life theme park, is situated in the city of San Diego in Southern California, by the side of the Pacific Ocean, and covers a 135-acre area. The performances by various denizens of the ocean-dolphins, walruses, sea lions, and so forth enjoy worldwide renown. Exhibitions of special skills at the Beach Stadium by killer whales weighing more than two tons, in particular, are great crowd-pleasers. The Bermuda Triangle takes one into a colorful underwater world where one explores the secrets of the ocean depths. Penguins, sharks, and freshwater fish in aquariums keep visitors rooted to the spot with their mysteries. After the day''s exciting tour, one would do well to "bribe"a tour guide, who might be willing to take you on a tour of the beautiful city of San Diego. You will surely be reluctant to leave this ancient yet so vital a city.
Day 10
Universal Studios is located in Hollywood, capital of the American film industry, occupies an entire hill and covers 525 acres, 485 of which are in actual use. It comprises 48 film studios, of which 32 are devoted to shooting films. Universal Studio City is the biggest film and TV producer in the world. The tours it provides take visitors through thrilling cinematic spectacles, such as bridge-crushing snow avalanches, exploding mountain torrents, giant white sharks, a roaring effigy of King Kong, and so forth. Virtual reality mock-ups from the films "Back to the Future,""Jurassic Park,"and "Aliens"are excruciatingly life-like. And awe-inspiring are the nerve-shattering special effects in "Water World" and "Wild West,"and in the stereoscopic films "Terminator 2 3D"and "4D."The fun is accentuated by song-and-dance performances and animal shows as well as humorous and comic children''s programs. Your fun tour will be ended with complimentary transfer-out to Los Angeles airport.
PLEASE ARRANGE YOUR FLIGHT AFTER 9:30PM.
